Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Buehler (hip) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday against the Brewers in Milwaukee, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Buehler initially looked to be tracking toward a return from the IL for Thursday's series finale with the Brewers, but he'll instead face Milwaukee a day earlier for what will be his first MLB outing since June 18. The right-hander made three rehab starts at Triple-A Oklahoma City, and after giving up eight runs in 7.1 innings between his first two starts, he appeared to right the ship in his final outing in the Pacific Coast League on Thursday. Buehler built up to 85 pitches Thursday, covering 5.1 innings and striking out five while allowing one hit and three walks. Before going on the injured list with right hip inflammation, the 29-year-old logged a 5.84 ERA with a 31:10 K:BB across 37 innings over his eight starts.
