The Dodgers designated Robinson for assignment Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
After the Dodgers swapped him off the 26-man active roster for Eliezer Alfonzo on Saturday, Robinson will now lose his spot on the 40-man roster. The journeyman catcher appeared in eight games with the Dodgers prior to his demotion to Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he's produced a .763 OPS in 21 contests this season.
