The Diamondbacks optioned Del Castillo to Triple-A Reno on Wednesday, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.
The move corresponds with the Diamondbacks reinstating Gabriel Moreno (personal) from the paternity list. Del Castillo appeared in eight games since being promoted from Triple-A after the All-Star break, going 7-for-25 with one steal and one RBI in that span. He'll see more consistent playing time now that he's back in the minors.
