Floro was called up to Chicago on Monday, Jesse Rogers of ESPN Chicago reports.

Floro owns just a 5.06 ERA and 1.56 WHIP over 16 innings for Triple-A Iowa, but he was impressive enough in spring training to catch the front office's eye and earn this call-up. He debuted in the majors last season, posting a 4.20 ERA while allowing 23 hits over 15 innings with the Rays. Floro has been throwing multiple innings in his stints with Iowa and could be used in a mop-up or long-relief role while he sticks around with the Cubs.
