Siani (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Siani will play five innings in center field in his first rehab game and continue to build up from there. He would seem to be tracking toward a return within the next week or so. Siani has been shelved since early August with a right oblique strain.
