The Orioles released Siani on Tuesday, Andy Kostka of TheBanner.com reports.
The 27-year-old outfielder was designated for assignment by Baltimore in late June but remained in the organization at Triple-A Norfolk, where he batted .118 (6-for-51) with a 27.6 percent strikeout rate after being DFA'd. Siani played in just one game while up on the major-league roster and had a .551 OPS in 19 games for St. Louis last season.
