Heineman isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports
Heineman went 1-for-3 with an RBI and scored a run Thursday, but the Angels will keep him on the bench to begin Friday's series opener. Travis d'Arnaud will pick up a start behind the plate as a result and bat eighth.
