    Powell joined the Cavs on a training camp deal back in September, but he was ultimately unable to secure a roster spot. If he fails to draw interest on the waiver wire, he'll likely report to Cleveland's G League team, the Cleveland Charge.

    Powell played collegiately at Auburn, Tennessee and Washington State but went undrafted Thursday. However, he's been invited to compete for a role with the Heat during Summer League. During his time at Washington State last year, he averaged 10.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 33.8 minutes per game.
