Celtics' Max Shulga: Back with parent club
The Celtics recalled Shulga from the G League's Maine Celtics on Wednesday.
Shulga has rejoined Boston ahead of Wednesday's game against the Thunder, but he's unlikely to be featured in the rotation. The rookie second-round pick saw extended run Tuesday in Maine's 130-105 win over the Cleveland Charge, finishing with 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six assists, one rebound and one steal.

Celtics' Max Shulga: Recalled to NBA, available Sunday
Boston recalled Shulga from the G League's Maine Celtics, and he is available for Boston's game against Minnesota on Sunday.
Shulga logged 29 minutes in Maine's 121-91 win over the Cleveland Charge on Sunday, during which he tallied 12 points (3-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists. He isn't guaranteed to see the floor for the parent club against the Timberwolves.

Celtics' Max Shulga: Back to NBA
Boston recalled Shulga from the G League's Maine Celtics on Friday.
Shulga recorded 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals during a G League game versus the Long Island Nets in his last assignment period. He's not expected to see significant action for the parent team, where he has played less than three minutes in each of his five appearances of the season.

Celtics' Max Shulga: Lands standard contract
Shulga agreed to a two-year contract with the Celtics on Saturday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The VCU product was selected by Boston with the 57th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and subsequently agreed to a two-way deal with the club. However, he's now been upgraded to a standard contract despite logging just five minutes across three regular-season appearances at the NBA level thus far. The 23-year-old guard may continue spending time with the team's G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics, where he has averaged 15.7 points, 6.7 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game across 36 outings.

Celtics' Max Shulga: Rare appearance in win
Shulga contributed no counting stats across two minutes during Monday's 108-81 victory over Milwaukee.
Shulga appeared for just the second time this season, both of which have come during garbage time. The 57th pick in the 2025 draft is buried on the depth chart in Boston, making him a non-factor in all fantasy formats.

Celtics' Max Shulga: Snapped up by Boston in Round 2
Shulga was selected by the Celtics with the No. 57 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard capped a five-year collegiate career in impressive fashion in 2024-25, taking home Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year honors while averaging 15.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.8 steals in 32.8 minutes per contest in 35 games for VCU. Perhaps more notably, Shulga converted at an efficient 38.7 percent from three-point range on 2.1 attempts per contest, and his ability to knock down open looks while serving as a secondary playmaker will likely be the key to him carving out a role at the NBA level. According to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com, Shulga will sign a two-way contract with Boston, so he'll likely see most of his playing time in his first professional season in the G League with the Maine Celtics.
