Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Double-doubles in Game 7 loss
Williams totaled 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 10 rebounds and four assists over 26 minutes during Saturday's 111-103 loss to San Antonio in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.
Williams served an expanded role during the Western Conference Finals, due in part to the absence of Jalen Williams (hamstring) and to fill in for a struggling Chet Holmgren. Williams recorded his first double-double of the postseason in Saturday's loss and was the only Thunder player to finish the game with a positive point differential (plus-10). He finished the Western Conference Finals having averaged 6.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 threes over 19.1 minutes per game. Williams should operate as the Thunder's backup center behind Isaiah Hartenstein for the 2026-27 season.

Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Lands five triples Friday
Williams had 18 points (5-7 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two steals across 22 minutes during Friday's 123-108 victory over the Spurs in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
Williams had easily his best game of the postseason, racking up all his non-free-throw points from behind the arc. While the starters struggled for Oklahoma City, the bench caught fire, combining for 68 total points. Although this was an encouraging performance for Williams, it's worth noting he'd gone scoreless in two of his previous three outings, underscoring the volatility in his production.

Williams (Achilles) will be available for Sunday's Game 1 against the Suns.

Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Goes to locker room
Williams went to the locker room during the second quarter of Game 1 of the first-round playoff series against the Suns on Sunday due to an apparent right leg injury, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Williams was seen grabbing at his right leg after taking contact while setting a screen on Devin Booker, and the former will undergo further tests to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Kenrich Williams figures to see a bump in playing time for as long as Williams is out of the game.

Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Ruled out for Friday
Williams is out for Friday's game against the Nuggets due to right Achilles tendinitis, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
This appears to be an attempt to get Williams and several other key contributors some rest ahead of a postseason push. There should be plenty of minutes available for Aaron Wiggins, Brooks Barnhizer, Kenrich Williams and Branden Carlson in the frontcourt Friday night as a result.

Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Strong defensive effort in OT win
Williams provided three points (1-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt), 13 rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 32 minutes off the bench during Monday's 114-110 overtime victory over Detroit.
All 13 boards came at the defensive end of the court, while the three rejections were his best performance at the rim since Feb. 11. Williams has pulled down double-digit rebounds in five of the last 14 games (two starts), averaging 9.4 points, 7.4 boards, 2.4 threes, 2.2 assists and 1.0 combined steals and blocks in 21.6 minutes over that stretch. He saw a slightly larger role Monday due to Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) and Jalen Williams (hamstring) sitting out the second half of a back-to-back set.

Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Double-doubles off bench
Williams closed Friday's 131-113 win over the Bulls with 12 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 19 minutes.
Williams was one of the players who benefited directly from the absence of Chet Holmgren (hip), and he responded by posting a double-double -- his first since March 9 -- and leaving his mark on the defensive end. This was the third time in which he recorded at least four steals-plus-blocks, and his contributions from the second unit have been massive for the Thunder, making him a valuable streaming option in most formats due to his ability to impact both ends of the court. Williams is in the midst of a career-best season and is averaging 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, but those numbers increase considerably if analyzing what he's done after the All-Star break. In 18 games in that span, he's averaging 10.3 points and 6.9 boards per game while shooting 50 percent from three-point range.

Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Buries five triples
Williams posted 18 points (6-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one block across 19 minutes during Monday's 123-103 victory over the 76ers.
Williams was active from deep, knocking down a team-high five triples in a blowout victory. The Arkansas product has now made five-plus threes in four contests this season, with three of those performances coming over his past 12 games. Williams isn't relied on as a major offensive contributor for the Thunder, but he's proven capable of providing a spark off the bench and logging quality minutes when called upon.

After a scuffle near the end of the second quarter, Williams, along with Ajay Mitchell, Cason Wallace and Justin Champagnie were ejected from the contest. The 23-year-old went scoreless (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-0) with four rebounds and one block in nine minutes of work. The Thunder will be in action again on Monday in Philadelphia, although it's unknown if Williams will be available for that one.
