Grizzlies' Tyler Burton: Leads Memphis with 17 points
Burton accumulated 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 32 minutes during Monday's 131-105 loss to Phoenix.
Burton totaled a team-high 17 points despite being deployed off the bench Monday evening. He looked sharp from beyond the arc, where he drilled three triples for a second straight game. Burton has also provided quality effort on the defensive end, recording at least one steal in five consecutive outings.

Grizzlies' Tyler Burton: Scores 20 points off bench Monday
Burton notched 20 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 146-107 loss to Atlanta.
Burton posted an impressive performance off the bench in this blowout loss and ended just two rebounds shy of recording what would've been his first double-double of the season. Burton has scored in double digits in his last three appearances off the bench, so he might be a solid player to target as a waiver pickup and streaming alternative down the stretch, especially if the Grizzlies start to rest regulars more often. Burton's last three performances have shown promise.

Grizzlies' Tyler Burton: Gets another 10-day deal
Burton signed a second 10-day contract with the Grizzlies on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
This was a no-brainer for a Memphis team that is struggling with injuries. During his first stint with the club, Burton averaged 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers, 0.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks in 25.2 minutes.

Tyler Burton: Contract expires
Burton became a free agent Sunday after his 10-day deal with the Grizzlies expired, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
After signing with the team via a hardship exception March 12, Burton was a regular member of the rotation for the Grizzlies' ensuing six games. He appeared in every contest and averaged 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers, 0.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks in 25.2 minutes while shooting 30.6 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from downtown. In order for the 26-year-old forward to return to the Grizzlies on a second 10-day deal, the NBA would need to deem the team worthy of another temporary roster spot due to its injury situation.

Grizzlies' Tyler Burton: Explodes for 23 points
Burton notched 23 points (7-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes during Friday's 117-112 loss to the Celtics.
Burton signed a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies via a hardship exception on March 12, and he certainly made a strong impression in this game -- just when the deal was about to expire. Burton has logged 20-plus minutes in four of his five appearances with the Grizzlies, but this was the first one in which he scored in double digits. It remains to be seen if he'll remain with the team once his current deal expires March 21.

Grizzlies' Tyler Burton: Connects with Memphis
Burton agreed Wednesday with the Grizzlies on a 10-day contract via a hardship exception, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
The Grizzlies list six players out for Thursday's game against the Mavericks and four others as doubtful, so Burton will be added to the roster on a short-term basis to provide some emergency depth. Given the lack of healthy bodies, Burton could enter the Memphis rotation right away, though his minutes will likely fall by the wayside once the club draws closer to full health. Over 43 appearances in the G League this season for the Grizzlies' affiliate, the Memphis Hustle, the 6-foot-7 forward has shot 45.1 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from three-point range while averaging 19.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.5 triples and 1.2 steals in 32.5 minutes per contest.
