Agbaji had his best game since arriving in Brooklyn, taking advantage of what was a favorable matchup. The 18 points represented a season-high for Agbaji, who to this point, has not even been an every-night part of the rotation for the Nets. We would need to see more of this before declaring him a viable standard league asset.

The Raptors traded Agbaji to Brooklyn on Tuesday in a three-team trade, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The Clippers flipped Chris Paul to Toronto, while a 2032 second-round pick and cash were sent to Brooklyn.
Agbaji was frequently mentioned in the rumor mill prior to this move. The 25-year-old wing made 42 appearances in Toronto, averaging 4.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.4 steals in 15.5 minutes per contest. It remains to be seen what type of role he'll be able to carve out in Brooklyn, and he can be considered doubtful to debut Thursday against Orlando while the deal finalizes.
Agbaji won't start against the Warriors on Tuesday.
Agbaji started Toronto's last two games but will revert to a bench role Tuesday. The 25-year-old forward has averaged 3.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per contest across six appearances off the bench so far this month.
Agbaji will start against the Clippers on Friday, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
With multiple key contributors sidelined, Agbaji will step into the starting five. In 11 starts so far this season, the 25-year-old forward has averaged 6.0 points and 3.1 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per contest.
Agbaji (coach's decision) went unused off the bench in Friday's 125-117 loss to the Celtics.
Even though Toronto was without three rotation players in Scottie Barnes (knee), Brandon Ingram (thumb) and Jakob Poeltl (back), Agbaji couldn't maintain his grasp on a spot in the Raptors' second unit. After playing 12 minutes or fewer in each of his previous four appearances, Agbaji had already been starting to see his role trend down, and his outlook won't improve as Toronto gets healthier.
Agbaji will come off the bench for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
