Nets' Egor Demin: Won't play vs. Philly
Demin (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's Summer League game against the 76ers, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Demin rested for the majority of the Las Vegas Summer League, and that will continue for the team's last game. The BYU product finished with 12 points, four assists and four rebounds in his last performance for his squad.

Nets' Egor Demin: Playing Wednesday
Demin (rest) is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's Summer League game against the Magic, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Demin rested during the first leg of Brooklyn's back-to-back, but he'll be good to go Wednesday. The rookie guard logged 12 points, four assists and four rebounds in his last Summer League outing.

Demin (rest) will not play in Tuesday's Summer League game against the Knicks, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Demin will miss Tuesday's game against the Knicks, the first leg of a back-to-back set. His next chance to play will come Wednesday against the Magic. In Sunday's matchup with the Wizards, the rookie posted 12 points (4-13 FG, 4-10 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 27 minutes.

Nets' Egor Demin: Drafted by Brooklyn
Demin was selected by the Nets with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Demin is a one-of-a-kind prospect, as the BYU standout is a 6-foot-10 floor general who's extremely comfortable running the offense and having the ball in his hands. The Moscow native needs to develop his jumper to reach his full potential, but since the Nets are in the midst of a rebuilding process, Demin should have plenty of chances to get used to the pace of the NBA game for a team that's not expected to be a playoff contender for at least a few years. Demin averaged 10.6 points, 5.5 assists, 3.9 boards and 1.2 steals over 33 games in the 2024-25 college season.
