Edgecombe is questionable for Sunday's game against the Heat due to left calf tightness, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports.
Edgecombe presumably tweaked his calf during Thursday's win over Milwaukee, and he's in danger of missing Sunday's game. His status will be worth monitoring following Sunday's shootaround, but if he's unable to give it a go, that would open up minutes for Quentin Grimes, Justin Edwards and Eric Gordon.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Second double-double of season
Edgecombe accumulated 12 points (5-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds and three assists over 38 minutes during Thursday's 123-114 overtime victory over the Bucks.
The rookie out of Baylor posted a double-double, though his shooting numbers were subpar. He's now scored in double figures in four straight games.

Edgecombe ended Wednesday's 121-112 loss to the Raptors with 21 points (8-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals over 37 minutes.
Edgecombe didn't have a great shooting night but more than made up for it on the defensive end, tying his career highs in steals and blocks. The 2025 first-round pick continues his fantastic rookie campaign, averaging 15.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.0 threes.

Edgecombe notched 18 points (6-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Friday's 114-105 loss to the Pistons.
Edgecombe had been struggling mightily in his previous five outings, converting just 27.9 percent of his shot attempts, but he snapped out of the shooting funk in this one and finished as Philly's second-leading scorer. He'll look to keep it going Monday against the Clippers.

Edgecombe turned heads after scoring 34 points in his NBA debut, but he's cooled off lately as opposing defenses have begun to plan against him. The former Baylor standout is in the midst of a cold stretch where he's failed to reach the 15-point mark in four straight games. During that stretch, Edgecombe is averaging 10.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while shooting 30 percent from the field. He'll continue to have upside as a starter in the backcourt next to Tyrese Maxey, but fantasy managers should be cautious about what Edgecombe might bring to the table based on his recent struggles.

Edgecombe posted season lows in points and made field goals Wednesday and was unable to make a three-pointer. Despite the lackluster performance, Edgecombe is still having a phenomenal rookie season, averaging 17.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.3 blocks and 2.3 threes made, so look for him to bounce back Saturday against the Raptors.

Edgecombe totaled 12 points (4-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 113-111 loss to Chicago.
Edgecombe struggled to find his footing from the field, but he made up for it by turning in his first career double-double. He paced the Sixers in rebounds, beating his previous season high of seven rebounds Oct. 22 against Boston. Edgecombe's scoring production has cooled off a bit over his last few appearances, but he's still finding ways to make an impact.
