Hood-Schifino posted 17 points (6-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 31 minutes in Monday's 89-78 Summer League loss to the Thunder.
Hood-Schifino finished as the 76ers' second-leading scorer and was one of three Philadelphia players to reach double figures. The 22-year-old guard was traded from the Lakers to the Jazz and subsequently waived before signing a two-way contract with Philadelphia in March of the 2024-25 campaign. However, he wasn't extended a qualifying offer and is now an unrestricted free agent heading into 2025-26.

Hood-Schifino posted seven points (2-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes during Sunday's 122-102 loss to the Bulls.
Significant injuries to Tyrese Maxey (finger), Jared McCain (knee) and Eric Gordon (wrist) allowed Hood-Schifino to play meaningful minutes down the stretch of the season. Over 13 games with Philadelphia, Hood-Schifino averaged 7.8 points, 2.8 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 0.5 blocks and 1.1 three-pointers in 23.2 minutes. Hood-Schifino has a two-way contract with Philadelphia, but he may not see as much playing time on a healthier 76ers team if he sticks around with the organization for next season.

After Sunday, the 76ers will have just 11 games remaining on the season, so Hood-Schifino should be available for the majority of those contests.

76ers' Jalen Hood-Schifino: Inks two-way deal with Philadelphia
The 76ers signed Hood-Schifino to a two-way contract Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Hood-Schifino was waived by the Jazz on Feb. 6 after being traded by the Lakers as part of the three-way deal that saw Anthony Davis go to the Mavericks and Luka Doncic being sent to the Lakers. When he was with the Lakers, Hood-Schifino appeared in only two games due to a hamstring injury, but he has a chance to see some minutes in a rotational role with the 76ers.
