Mavericks' John Poulakidas: Logs team-high 28 points from bench
Poulakidas recorded 28 points (9-18 FG, 8-16 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during Sunday's 149-128 win over the Bulls.
Poulakidas drilled an impressive eight three-pointers in the win, eclipsing the career high he set two games ago. After spending most of the season with the Clippers' G League club, the 6-6 Yale product signed a two-way deal with Dallas in late February and has proven to be a diamond in the rough. His excellent totals at season's end pose an interesting quandary for the team, which expects to have Kyrie Irving (knee) back this season. With his wing options limited by Cooper Flagg, Poulakidas' best chance for advancement is a delayed return from Irving, or some other injury-related mishap.

Mavericks' John Poulakidas: Strikes for career-high 23
Poulakidas contributed 23 points (8-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one block across 29 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 112-107 loss to the Suns.
The undrafted rookie wing out of Yale had by far his best performance so far in the NBA, leading the Mavericks in scoring and setting new career highs in points and made three-pointers. Poulakidas has scored in double digits in just three of his 11 appearances for Dallas, but he could continue to get a showcase over the final two games of the regular season.

Mavericks' John Poulakidas: Scores 11 points off bench
Poulakidas closed with 11 points (4-9 FG, 3-8 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 28 minutes during Tuesday's 123-99 loss to Milwaukee.
Poulakidas made his season debut with the Mavericks on March 3, and while his playing time has been inconsistent, he's finding ways to produce when given enough minutes. This 11-point output was a season-high mark for the rookie, although it's hard to trust him in fantasy given his role as a two-way player. He's appeared in just seven of the Mavericks' 17 games since the beginning of March.

Mavericks' John Poulakidas: Sticks in rotation
Poulakidas provided three points (1-5 FG, 1-5 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal across 18 minutes during Monday's 129-111 loss to the Pelicans.
Poulakidas remained in the rotation, suiting up for just the third time this season. Currently on a two-way deal, there is a chance Poulakidas could find himself on the floor a little more as the season winds down. With that said, he is not someone managers need to concern themselves with at this point.

Mavericks' John Poulakidas: Joins Dallas on two-way deal
Poulakidas agreed Saturday with the Mavericks on a two-way contract, Jake Fischer of BleacherReport.com reports.
Poulakidas will fill the two-way slot previously occupied by guard Ryan Nembhard, who was upgraded to a standard NBA contract earlier Saturday. An undrafted rookie out of Yale, Poulakidas has spent all season in the G League with the San Diego Clippers. Over 37 appearances for San Diego, Poulakidas shot 45.1 percent from three-point range and averaged 12.5 points, 3.3 triples, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 27.0 minutes per game. He'll likely see most of his opportunities in the G League with the Mavericks' affiliate, the Texas Legends, for the remainder of the season.

Clippers' John Poulakidas: Inks camp pact with LAC
Poulakidas has signed a training camp with the Clippers, independent NBA writer Justin Russo reports.
The undrafted rookie will have a chance to make an impression at Clippers camp this fall, and he'll likely be a candidate for the G League's San Diego Clippers in 2025-26. Poulakidas made five appearances in the Las Vegas Summer League for the Clippers this past July, averaging 1.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 12.1 minutes per game.
