Grizzlies' Toby Okani: Logs 41 minutes in start
Okani notched six points (3-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 41 minutes during Sunday's 132-101 loss to Houston.
After signing a 10-day deal April 3, Okani logged extended playing time for the injury plagued Grizzlies over the final six games of the season, averaging 10.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers, 1.0 assists and 0.7 steals in 36.2 minutes per contest. He'll officially become an unrestricted free agent with his contract expiring Monday.

Grizzlies' Toby Okani: Logs 20 points in blowout
Okani logged 20 points (9-22 FG, 2-8 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists in 42 minutes during Friday's 147-101 loss to the Jazz.
Okani was part of a slim six-player rotation during the rout. He had his work cut out for him against Utah, which held a significant height advantage over the depleted frontcourt. The undrafted rookie out of West Virginia has spent most of his first NBA season in the G League, and his future with the parent club depends heavily on the organization's offseason plans. Part of the plan will include paying a high first-round pick, and if they draft someone with a skill set similar to Okani's, he could be back in the G League once again.

Grizzlies' Toby Okani: Retreating to bench
Okani isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
Okani was given an opportunity to show what he can do Sunday against the Bucks, as he logged 41 minutes in his second appearance on the year for Memphis. He'll shift back to the bench Monday with GG Jackson set to return from a knee issue.

Grizzlies' Toby Okani: Sees 41 minutes in start
Okani accumulated nine points (4-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three rebounds and one steal in 41 minutes during Sunday's 131-115 loss to the Bucks.
Okani, who was signed to a 10-day contract Thursday, made his first career start against the Bucks and saw a massive workload for the injury-depleted Grizzlies. With the team evaluating several fringe rotation players, Okani could see a ton of reps to close out the regular season if Sunday was any indication.

Grizzlies' Toby Okani: Making first career start
Okani will start Sunday's game against the Bucks, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Okani made his NBA debut Friday, posting seven points, seven rebounds, one steal and one block in 28 minutes during a blowout loss to Toronto. He figures to play a major role for the injury-depleted Grizzlies over the final week of the regular season after signing a 10-day contract last Thursday.

Grizzlies' Toby Okani: Lands 10-day pact with Memphis
Okani agreed Thursday with the Grizzlies on a 10-day contract, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Memphis has brought in Okani and Dariq Whitehead on 10-day deals to replace DeJon Jarreau and Tyler Burton, both of whom had their 10-day contracts expire Thursday. An undrafted rookie out of West Virginia, Okani has thus far spent the entire 2025-26 campaign with the G League's Westchester Knicks, averaging 6.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 21.4 minutes per game over 47 appearances. While he's likely to get the chance to receive some meaningful run with Memphis over its final six games, Okani's statistical profile in the G League doesn't suggest that he'll be a major fantasy factor.
