Colts' Segun Olubi: Past ankle injury
Olubi (ankle) played in Saturday's preseason game against Green Bay.
Olubi dealt with an ankle injury earlier in training camp but has played in both preseason contests this summer, logging 82 defensive snaps across both exhibitions. Olubi appeared in all 17 regular-season games last season, logging 12 tackles (six solo), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Colts' Segun Olubi: Sidelined by ankle issue
Olubi did not participate in the Colts' practice Saturday due to an ankle injury, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Olubi appears to have picked up an ankle injury at training camp, which forced him to take a seat at practice Saturday. The linebacker signed a one-year deal with the team in January, and he could be at risk of being unavailable for Thursday's preseason opener against the Ravens.

Olubi had five total tackles and forced a fumble in Sunday's win over Miami.
Olubi played his first snaps of the season on defense and was thrust into a significant role with E.J. Speed out with a knee injury and Jaylon Carlies leaving the game with an ankle injury. Olubi played on 21 of the defense's 69 snaps and could see a larger role next week against Houston.

Olubi missed two games due to a hip injury in 2023, and when healthy handled mostly a special-teams role for Indianapolis. Olubi started at middle linebacker and had six total tackles, an interception and a pass defensed in Sunday's win at Carolina.
Olubi got the start with Zaire Franklin out with a knee injury. He played on all of the defense's 71 snaps, so he stayed on the field in all packages. He could get another start next week at New England if Franklin remains sidelined.
