Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Playing time jumps without Hill
Mitchell had six carries for 31 yards and added two receptions for 23 yards on three targets against the Browns.
The speedster's role was expected to be elevated with Justice Hill (toe) sidelined. Mitchell did get a bump with a season-high 16 snaps and nine total opportunities split between six carries and three targets. He peeled off 5.2 yards per carry and had his first multi-reception game of the year. However, his one missed target ended in disaster, as it ricocheted off his hands and into Devin Bush's for a pick-six. This game was a good snapshot of Mitchell's expected usage if Hill is out, but once the veteran returns, it could be an uphill battle for Mitchell to get double-digit snaps in a given game. The Ravens return home to face the Jets in Week 12.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Likely bumping up to RB2 in Week 11
Mitchell could see added opportunities Sunday against the Browns, as Justice Hill (toe) was ruled out Friday.
Derrick Henry is the clear leader in Baltimore's backfield, but the speedy Mitchell should get some chances in a change-of-pace role. Mitchell's averaging 6.2 yards per carry on a limited sample of 15 rushes in 2025, as opportunities have been hard to come by behind Henry and Hill.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Practices in full
Mitchell (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Mitchell was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, but he's now ready to rock for Sunday's road matchup against the Browns. He's logged exactly four carries in three consecutive games, while continuing to contribute as a return man. Justice Hill (toe) missed another practice Thursday, potentially paving the way for Mitchell to handle the No. 2 role behind Derrick Henry in Week 11.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Limited by knee injury
Mitchell was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury.
Mitchell has impressed in a small role the past few weeks, including by logging four carries for 31 yards during Sunday's 27-19 win at Minnesota. He might even have a chance at a larger role Week 11 at Cleveland with backfield mate Justice Hill (toe) missing Wednesday's practice while Mitchell at least managed limited participation.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Breaks off big run Sunday
Mitchell had four carries for 31 yards Sunday against the Vikings.
Mitchell got a carry on four of his five snaps Sunday and was effective on those opportunities, including a 22-yard rush, which was the longest of the day for any Raven. The third-year running back has not had more than 10 snaps in any of his five outings thus far, but he's getting work anytime he's on the field. He's averaging 6.2 yards per carry on 15 attempts thus far and is a big-play threat out of the Baltimore backfield. The Ravens head to Cleveland to face the Browns in Week 11.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Shows explosiveness in win
Mitchell had four carries for 43 yards on seven snaps in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Bears.
The third-year back was more involved in the offense in the first game coming out of a bye week, and he showed the burst that was his calling card before he suffered a season-ending ACL tear as a rookie in 2023. Mitchell peeled off a 25-yard run in the third quarter that helped set up a field goal to put the Ravens up by two scores. He was also effective on special teams with 66 yards on two kickoff returns. Seven snaps is not enough to get Mitchell on the radar in redraft leagues just yet, but his usage is worth monitoring going forward.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: No touches in Week 6
Mitchell failed to log a rushing attempt or target while playing just two of the Ravens' 78 offensive snaps in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Rams. He returned one kickoff for 17 yards over six snaps on special teams.
After touching the ball on all four of the snaps he played in a Week 5 loss to the Texans, Mitchell didn't see any usage Sunday and ranked fourth in snaps among Ravens running backs, trailing Derrick Henry (38), Justice Hill (35) and Rasheen Ali (three). The 23-year-old speedster doesn't appear to be a priority in Baltimore's offensive attack at the moment, despite the playmaking ability he can offer as a change-of-pace back.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Makes season debut in Week 5
Mitchell carried three times for eight yards and recorded a five-yard reception while returning five kickoffs for 120 yards in Sunday's 44-10 loss to the Texans.
A healthy inactive for each of Baltimore's first four games, Mitchell suited up Sunday as the Ravens looked to add some dynamism to the backfield to help compensate for the absence of dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring). Though he took the field for just four of the Ravens' 43 offensive snaps, Mitchell got the ball on each of those plays. His usage didn't come in garbage time either; three of his snaps came prior to halftime. Though he doesn't yet appear poised to leapfrog Justice Hill as the top change-of-pace option behind starter Derrick Henry, Mitchell could see his role grow slightly in subsequent weeks if the 1-4 Ravens are keen on getting another big-play threat on the field to spark an offense that has sputtered over the past two games.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: On track to be active Sunday
Mitchell is expected to be active Sunday against the Texans, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Mitchell has been a scratch for each of the Ravens' first four games thus far, but it looks like he could contribute to the team's offense this week. In such a scenario, Mitchell would provide Baltimore's backfield, which also includes Derrick Henry, Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali, with a speed option in a contest that will be helmed by QB Cooper Rush, with star dual-threat signal-caller Lamar Jackson(hamstring) out versus Houston.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Could be active Week 5
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that Mitchell "has a chance" to play Sunday versus the Texans, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.
Mitchell has been a healthy scratch for each of Baltimore's first four regular-season games, but with Lamar Jackson (hamstring) expected to sit out Week 5 against Houston, the team could deploy a different backfield approach. If active Sunday, Mitchell will be in position to compete for complementary snaps behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill on offense, as well as with Rasheen Ali on special teams.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Inactive again Week 4
Mitchell (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game versus the Chiefs.
Mitchell has now been ruled a healthy scratch for each of the first four weeks of the season. The Ravens will once again use Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali as the backup running backs behind bell-cow starter Derrick Henry. Mitchell's next chance to play is Week 5 versus the Texans on Sunday, Oct. 5.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Healthy scratch against Detroit
Mitchell (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Lions.
Mitchell will be a healthy scratch for a third consecutive week as the Ravens roll with Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali as the two rotational running backs behind Derrick Henry. Mitchell's next chance to play is Week 4 against the Chiefs, but the 23-year-old running back is out of the backfield rotation barring injury, illness or suspension to Henry, Hill or Ali.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Inactive for opener
Mitchell is inactive for Sunday night's season opener against the Bills.
Per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com, Mitchell is a healthy scratch versus Buffalo, with Rasheen Ali getting the nod as the Ravens' No. 3 back in Week 1 behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill because of his special teams impact.
