Colts' Anthony Richardson: Sustains orbital eye fracture
Coach Shane Steichen noted that Richardson suffered an an "orbital eye fracture" ahead of Sunday's 31-27 win over the Cardinals, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
After sustaining his eye injury during pre-game warmups Sunday, Richardson was made inactive, and per Stephen Holder of ESPN.com, Richardson could miss additional time. In such a scenario, Riley Leonard would be in line to serve as Daniel Jones' top backup.

Colts' Anthony Richardson: Out Week 6 due to eye injury
Richardson is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cardinals after sustaining an eye injury while doing pregame work with resistance bands, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
The Colts haven't provided word on the severity of the injury, but Richardson was apparently in enough discomfort that the team elected to make him inactive for the first time this season. Richardson had suited up as starting quarterback Daniel Jones' top backup for each of the first five games and saw action late in blowout wins in Weeks 3 and 5, but rookie Riley Leonard is now slated to handle the No. 2 role Sunday.

Colts' Anthony Richardson: Inactive Sunday
Richardson is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Amanda Foster of the Colts' official site reports.
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Richardson sustained an unspecified injury during warmups, so the quarterback isn't a healthy inactive for the contest. Riley Leonard is thus slated to serve as Daniel Jones' top backup Sunday.

Colts' Anthony Richardson: Gets time late in blowout win
Richardson was 1-for-2 passing for nine yards, catching his own pass when deflected by the defensive line, in Sunday's win over Las Vegas. He played seven snaps late in the blowout victory.
Richardson has been relegated to a true backup with Daniel Jones playing well as the starter. There was some thought early in the season that Richardson could be used on short-yardage and goal-line plays, but Jones has been strong in those situations as well.
