Johnson recorded two tackles (one solo), one pass defensed and one interception in Sunday's 35-6 win over the Chargers.
Johnson has seen his snap count and production tick up in the absence of Eric Murray (neck). He had a relatively quiet performance, though he had a combined 13 tackles across two games before Sunday's effort. Johnson also had his second interception of the season, which he managed to return for 44 yards to set up a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Johnson recorded six tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, and a defensed pass in Sunday's loss to Houston.
Johnson notched his first sack of the season -- and the second of his career -- when he brought down Davis Mills just before halftime. Johnson also tallied his second-highest tackle total of the campaign. The third-year safety has 28 tackles and two defensed passes (including an interception) through nine games this season.

Johnson served as the Jaguars' top reserve safety in 2024 and saw plenty of playing time, logging 684 defensive snaps and eight starts across his 17 appearances. The Texas A&M product drastically improved his tackle total from his rookie season (17 to 73); however, he recorded fewer passes defended (three to two), interceptions (two to zero) and forced fumbles (one to zero) despite the increased playing time. With Andre Cisco set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, Johnson could compete for one of Jacksonville's starting safety positions in 2025.
