Hyppolite (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Cleveland.
Hyppolite has been dealing with a shoulder issue of late and missed Chicago's past two games, but he didn't have an injury designation heading into this weekend. As such, his inactive status Sunday appears to be a healthy scratch. The rookie hasn't made much of an impact this season and may be getting squeezed out of the Bears' defensive rotation.

Hyppolite (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Hyppolite missed Chicago's last two games due to a shoulder injury, but his ability to practice Wednesday without restriction indicates that he'll be available to play against Cleveland on Sunday. The Maryland product is now in line to miss his second consecutive game due to a shoulder injury. The linebacker suffered the shoulder injury in the Bears' Week 12 win over the Steelers and missed practice Wednesday. Chicago is already banged up in its linebacker corps, with Tremaine Edmunds (groin) on injured reserve and T.J. Edwards (hand) and Noah Sewell (elbow) already ruled out for Friday as well. Carl Jones, D'Marco Jackson, Daniel Hardy and Amen Ogbongbemiga are Chicago's backup linebackers.

The Bears placed Tremaine Edmunds on injured reserve Saturday with a groin issue. Chicago also has two starting linebackers, T.J. Hyppolite, a fourth-round pick in April's draft, has played on 17 defensive snaps and 83 special-teams snaps this season, making four tackles (two solo).
