Luq Barcoo: Signed to Cowboys' practice squad
The Cowboys signed Barcoo to the practice squad Wednesday, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Barcoo was released from the Steelers' injured reserve in June of 2024 due to an undisclosed injury. He appears to be fully recovered from the injury and will be a part of Dallas' practice squad for the final week of the 2024 regular season. Barcoo last saw regular-season action in 2020 with the Jaguars, when he logged 10 tackles (seven solo) and one pass defense across three games.

Luq Barcoo: Injury settlement reached
The Steelers waived Barcoo (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The 25-year-old corner most recently appeared in a game with the Jaguars in 2020. Now that he's reached an injury settlement with Pittsburgh, Barcoo is free to sign with another team once he's medically cleared.

Barcoo played in three games with the Jaguars in 2020 but has since bounced around multiple organizations' practice squads. He most recently competed in the XFL with the San Antonio Brahmas. The cornerback will attend the Steelers' offseason program and will likely be competing for a depth role in the secondary during training camp.
