Seahawks' George Holani: Won't return with hamstring injury
Holani (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Titans, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Holani sustained the injury in the first half, which has been deemed too severe by medical staff for him to return to Sunday's game. Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet will be the two Seahawks running backs the rest of the way, and with Holani out and Dareke Young (quadriceps) on injured reserve, wide receivers Cody White and Rashid Shaheed should handle return duties on kickoffs.

Holani rushed seven times for 31 yards and a touchdown in the 44-22 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Holani typically stays out of the offensive rotation, as he has played more than three offensive snaps just one other time this year, but the blowout nature of this game meant he handled 11 snaps, scoring his first regular-season touchdown in the process. The 25-year-old running back should revert to a special-teams role in Week 11 versus the Rams.

An undrafted free agent in 2024, Holani was far from a roster lock after he suited up in just five games during his rookie season before the Seahawks selected Martinez in the seventh round. Holani earned his spot during a short but definitive preseason, as he rushed 12 times for 110 yards (9.2 YPC) and a touchdown while mixing in on the kick return. The Boise State product carries little fantasy value as long as Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are healthy, but Holani's a fine stash in deeper dynasty leagues due to Walker's injury history.

Holani rushed five times for 49 yards in Friday's 33-16 preseason win over the Chiefs. He also returned three kicks for 73 yards.
Holani was the Seahawks' second running back in the game after Zach Charbonnet got the start. The Boise State product only played one drive but looked quite good, breaking off a 30-yard run in the first quarter. It appears he has the edge over rookie seventh-round pick Damien Martinez at this time, but neither player will get much run as long as Charbonnet and lead back Kenneth Walker are healthy.

Holani rushed seven times for 61 yards and a touchdown while catching his only target for 20 yards in Thursday's 23-23 preseason tie against the Raiders.
Holani made the most of his opportunity as the starter Thursday with the Seahawks resting numerous key offensive contributors, including running backs Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet. Holani's production came in just two drives of action, the second of which he capped with a 24-yard rushing touchdown. The second-year pro seems to have the early edge in the competition for the third spot on the depth chart over rookie seventh-round pick Damien Martinez, who mustered only 25 scrimmage yards on eight touches Thursday. Holani will look to keep building momentum in Seattle's second preseason game, Aug. 15 against the Chiefs.
