  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Bounces back from blanking

Williams brought in four of six targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' 27-24 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Williams was surprisingly shut out altogether during the Lions' Week 7 win over the Buccaneers, but after some bye-week chatter from the coaching staff about making it a priority to get him the ball, the fleet-footed wideout delivered a solid performance. Williams' yardage total tied for his second highest of the campaign, and his 37-yard touchdown down the left sideline that he finished with a full extension was his third of the season. Williams will have a positive outlook going into a Week 10 road matchup against the Commanders, who'll enter their Week 9 Sunday night matchup against the Seahawks allowing an NFL-high 12.0 yards per completion.

  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Held catchless Monday

Williams failed to bring in either of his two targets in Monday's 24-9 win over Tampa Bay.

The usually sure-handed Williams failed to haul in either of his targets on a low-volume passing night dominated by Detroit's run game. The 24-year-old has been a hit-or-miss fantasy asset through seven weeks, doing most of his damage in two big-scoring games. Williams couldn't improve on his 17-289-2 receiving line Monday as the Lions prepare to enter a bye week. The Alabama product should continue to be treated as a risky high-upside play against the Vikings in Week 9.

  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Has breakout performance

Williams recorded six receptions on seven targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Chiefs.

Williams finally put together a strong showing, leading the Lions in receiving yards while finding the end zone for the first time since Week 2. His touchdown catch was his longest of the day, as he caught a pass deep across the middle of the field before crashing through several defenders for a 22-yard score. Williams also tallied a pair of 15-yard gains to help him surpass 50 receiving yards in a game for only the second time this season.
