Giants' Tyler Nubin: Healthy off ankle surgery
Nubin (ankle) has been participating in the Giants' OTAs this week, John Schmeelk of the team's official website reports.
Nubin suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 14 last season and needed surgery. Nubin started all 13 games in which he appeared in as a 2024 rookie, finishing with 98 tackles (57 solo), one pass breakup, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He should again start at safety alongside newcomer Jevon Holland.

Giants' Tyler Nubin: Recovering well from ankle surgery
Nubin (ankle) expects to be ready to participate fully in team activities during the upcoming offseason, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Nubin needed a tightrope surgery after suffering a high right-ankle sprain in Week 14 versus the Saints, but he believes he's already relatively close to being back to full strength. He projects to start at safety again for the Giants in 2025 after a promising rookie season.

Nubin underwent surgery Monday to repair the ankle injury he suffered in the Giants' Week 14 loss to the Saints, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Nubin was placed on injured reserve this past Wednesday due to the ankle injury. The rookie second-round pick had played all but two defensive snaps in the 12 regular-season games prior to the Giants' Week 14 loss, and he'll end his 2024 campaign with 98 tackles (57 solo), one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 13 games. Dane Belton will serve as the Giants' starting strong safety for the last three games of the 2024 regular season.

Giants' Tyler Nubin: Likely needs ankle surgery
Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Thursday that Nubin (ankle), who is already on season-ending IR, will "probably" require surgery to address his injury, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post reports.
Nubin, a 2024 second-round pick, put together an impressive rookie campaign across 12 appearances, recording 98 total tackles, one pass defended and one forced fumble.
