Giants' Evan Neal: Participating in OTAs
Neal (ribs/hip) took part in the Giants' OTAs on Friday, John Schmeelk of the team's official site reports.
Neal missed New York's final game last season due to injuries to his ribs and hip, but he appears to be back to full health. Per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com, Neal is playing left guard during OTAs as he makes the switch from right tackle, and the 2022 first-round draft pick will attempt to win a starting role at his new position.

Giants' Evan Neal: Fifth-year option declined
The Giants are declining Neal's (ribs/hip) fifth-year option, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Neal has struggled at right tackle since being drafted 7th overall by the Giants leading to him being benched prior to the start of the 2024 campaign. He was dealing with a hip and ribs injuries at the end of last season, and the team could potentially switch him to guard in hopes of revitalizing his career.

Giants' Evan Neal: Missing Week 18
Neal (ribs/hip) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Neal appears to have picked up rib and hip injuries in the Giants' Week 17 win over the Colts, as he didn't practice throughout the week and will now be sidelined for the team's regular-season finale Sunday. Chris Hubbard is expected to serve as the Giants' top right tackle in Neal's stead in Week 18.

Neal (hip) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Neal played through a hip injury during the Giants' Thanksgiving Day loss to the Cowboys. He was a DNP for Wednesday's practice, but he was able to finish with consecutive limited practices and appears to be on track to start at right tackle Sunday.
