  • Ravens' M.J. Devonshire: Catches on with Baltimore

The Ravens signed Devonshire to a contract Saturday.

Devonshire was let go by the Panthers in late July with an injury settlement. He's fully recovered from his hamstring injury and will bolster the Ravens' cornerback depth after Bilhal Kone (knee) was placed on injured reserve.

  • M.J. Devonshire: Waived by Carolina

Devonshire (hamstring) was waived off the Panthers' injured reserve with an injury settlement last week, Darin Gantt of Panthers.com reports.

The waiving of Devonshire creates room on the roster for cornerback Mello Dotson. Devonshire could potentially return to Carolina at some point whenever he's back to full health.

  • Raiders' M.J. Devonshire: Reverts to injured reserve

Devonshire (hamstring) reverted to Carolina's injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

  • M.J. Devonshire: Let go with injury designation

The Panthers waived Devonshire (hamstring) with an injury designation Friday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Devonshire was selected by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft and ended up with the Panthers, but he will now go on waivers after being cut. If he goes unclaimed, the Pittsburgh product would revert to injured reserve and would be forced to sit for the entire 2025 season unless an injury settlement is reached.

The Raiders selected Devonshire in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 229th overall.

Devonshire marks the third secondary player drafted by the Raiders on Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft.
