Titans' Treylon Burks: Moves to injured reserve
Burks (collarbone) reverted to the Titans' injured reserve Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Burks broke his right collarbone while making a diving catch at Saturday's practice. He'll be required to miss the entire 2025 season, unless he's waived with an injury settlement. Through three NFL campaigns, the 2022 first-round pick has compiled a disappointing 53-699-1 line on 92 targets in 27 regular-season games, including just four catches for 34 yards and no TDs in five contests last year.

Treylon Burks: Waived with injury designation
The Titans waived Burks (collarbone) with an injury designation Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Burks suffered a broken collarbone in practice last week, and he'll now head to waivers after the Titans signed fellow WR Ramel Keyton in a corresponding move. If Burks clears waivers, he'll be placed on injured reserve, where he could then be cut with an injury settlement at a later date. Since being taken with the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Burks has amassed a career receiving line of 53-699-1 on 92 targets across 27 regular-season contests. He's been neither healthy nor productive in Tennessee.

Titans' Treylon Burks: Suffers fractured collarbone
Burks fractured his collarbone during Saturday's practice, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Burks made an incredible diving catch during Saturday's practice but came up holding his right shoulder before heading to the locker room. The 2022 first-round pick has struggled with injuries throughout his young career, as he suffered a torn ACL last season and has played only 27 regular-season games through three campaigns. It's unclear when he will return, but he's expected to at least miss the beginning of the season. This opens the door for Van Jefferson and rookies Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor to secure the No. 3 wide receiver role in the meantime.

Titans' Treylon Burks: Leaves practice Saturday
Burks (shoulder/knee) exited Saturday's practice after making a diving one-handed catch, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Burks has been practicing for a couple days now after his 2024 campaign was cut short due to a torn ACL. He beat a cornerback deep during Saturday's practice and made a phenomenal catch but came up holding his shoulder before heading to the locker room. Burks is vying for a starting wide receiver job during training camp, so any missed time will be detrimental.

Titans' Treylon Burks: Still viewed as key piece
Cameron Ward expressed optimism that Burks (knee) will be one of the Titans' top receivers in 2025, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Burks has had a difficult start to his NFL career due to a combination of poor performance and injury. He's recovering from a torn ACL heading into his fourth campaign but has been practicing at the start of training camp, which should be a positive indication of his availability come the regular season. The Titans drafted Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor and also signed Van Jefferson and Tyler Lockett this offseason, giving Burks increased competition for targets.

Titans' Treylon Burks: On track for training camp
Burks (knee) is expected to be ready for training camp, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Burks, who is bouncing back from an ACL tear that he suffered Week 6 of the 2024 season, was only able to take part in individual periods of practice during OTAs and minicamp, but it looks like he'll be ready for more work in training camp. Once he's at or close to 100 percent, the 2022 first-rounder will have an opportunity to compete for slotting in a Tennessee wideout corps that is led by Calvin Ridley but unsettled beyond that.

Titans' Treylon Burks: Could be ready for Week 1
Titans coach Brian Callahan said Wednesday that Burks (knee) is at about 80 percent strength and may be ready for Week 1, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
The 2022 first-round pick is finishing up his rehab from the ACL tear he suffered Week 6 last year, with a shot to be ready for the start of the final season of his rookie contract. Burks has averaged 2.0 catches for 25.9 yards in 27 career games, with just one touchdown among his 53 receptions, providing minimal reason for hope that he can live up to his draft status. He at least has some chance to earn playing time in Tennessee, where WR roles appear open for competition behind Calvin Ridley.

Titans' Treylon Burks: Getting in limited practice
Burks (knee) practiced in a limited capacity during OTAs on Wednesday, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
It's an encouraging sign to see Burks working with the team as he heals from the ACL damage he incurred in Week 6 of the 2024 season. Per Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com, coach Brian Callahan said Wednesday that while Burks isn't fully back, he'll be involved in practice as he progresses in his recovery. Once he's fully healthy, Tennessee hopes Burks will be able to compete for targets that don't go to Calvin Ridley with veteran wideouts Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson, as well as rookies Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor.

Titans' Treylon Burks: Option not picked up
The Titans officially declined the fifth-year option on Burks' (knee) rookie contract Thursday, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Burks' fifth-year option being declined is no surprise, given that he's currently working his way back from an ACL tear suffered Week 6 of the 2024 season, and when healthy had failed to secure a top three role behind Calvin Ridley, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Tyler Boyd. Westbrook-Ikhine and Boyd have since parted ways with Tennessee, though the team added Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson as experienced options to complement Ridley for new franchise quarterback Cam Ward. Per Turron Davenport of ESPN.com, head coach Brian Callahan stressed the necessity of Burks hitting the ground running and making plays once he's returned to full health when addressing the media Tuesday.
