Dolphins' Storm Duck: Won't return Week 5
Duck (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
Week 5 will mark the fourth consecutive game that Duck will miss due to a ankle injury that he suffered in the Dolphins' regular-season opener against Indianapolis. Veteran Rasul Douglas will continue to start at outside corner opposite Jack Jones for as long as Duck is sidelined. Duck will shift his focus towards returning to practice next week and being available for the Dolphins' Week 6 home clash against the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 12.

Dolphins' Storm Duck: Officially out for Monday
Duck (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Monday night's matchup against the Jets.
The 24-year-old will miss his third consecutive game after sustaining an ankle injury in the Dolphins' Week 1 loss to the Colts. In Duck's absence, veteran Rasul Douglas is expected to step in and start opposite Jack Jones in Miami's secondary.

Dolphins' Storm Duck: Unlikely to play Week 4
Head coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Duck is "progressing" through his ankle injury but "is almost ruled out" for the Dolphins' Week 4 AFC East clash against the Jets on Monday, Sept. 29, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.
Duck suffered an ankle injury during the Dolphins' Week 1 loss to the Colts. The injury has prevented him from suiting up the last two games and it appears likely that Duck will also be sidelined against the Jets, but he could be cleared to return Week 5 against the Panthers on Sunday, Oct. 5. Veteran Rasul Douglas will continue to see additional playing time at outside corner opposite Jack Jones for as long as Duck is sidelined.

Dolphins' Storm Duck: Ruled out to face Bills
Duck (ankle) is ruled out for Thursday's road game against Buffalo, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Duck hasn't yet resumed practicing since leaving the field early due to an ankle injury Week 1. His next opportunity to retake the field will come Week 4 against the Jets on Monday, Sept. 29. With Duck still unavailable, veteran Rasul Douglas will again handle expanded defensive snaps at outside cornerback Thursday versus the Bills.

Duck sustained an ankle injury in the first half of Sunday's blowout loss to the Colts, but it appears he avoided a season-ending issue. The second-year corner played 29 defensive snaps before exiting, recording three total tackles and one pass defended. Miami's secondary depth and outlook was already bleak heading into the season, so Rasul Douglas and Ethan Bonner (hamstring) will likely have their hands full while filling in for Duck.
