Rams' Puka Nacua: Could have come back in
Head coach Sean McVay said after Sunday's 34-10 win over the Saints that Nacua suffered a rib injury but could have come back into the game, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Nacua caught seven of eight targets for 95 yards and a touchdown prior to exiting in the third quarter with what was originally deemed a chest injury. The star wide receiver went inside with trainers but later returned to the sideline with his helmet on and seemed to be in good spirits. McVay said Nacua "got his ribs" but the team was simply exercising a cautious approach with the game well in hand. Nacua's practice participation will be worth monitoring prior to the Rams' Week 10 game against the 49ers, but McVay sounded optimistic regarding Nacua's availability moving forward.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Hurts chest Sunday
Nacua sustained a chest injury during Sunday's game against the Saints, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports.
Nacua took a jet sweep for three yards in the middle of the third quarter, and, as he was tackled, his chest took the brunt of the football hitting the ground. The Rams are running away with Sunday's contest, so the team may exercise caution and keep him on the sideline for the final quarter and change. Nacua had seven catches (on eight targets) for 95 yards and one touchdown and the sole rush at the time of his exit.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Return to action confirmed
Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed Friday that Nacua will return for Sunday's game against the Saints, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Nacua was injured Week 6 and will end up missing just one game with the help of a Week 8 bye. The Rams listed him as a limited practice participant Wednesday, before an upgrade to full participation Thursday answered lingering doubts about Nacua's Week 9 availability.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Full practice Thursday
Nacua (ankle) was a full practice participant Thursday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Nacua was limited in his return to practice Wednesday, despite looking like himself while running routes and making cuts, per Nate Atkins of The Athletic. One day later, though, Nacua had no on-field restrictions, paving the way for his first appearance since he sustained a low left-ankle sprain Week 6 at Baltimore. He even told Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times after Thursday's session that he's "feeling good" and expects to play Sunday against the Saints.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Officially limited in return to practice
Nacua (ankle) officially was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
After coach Sean McVay told Grosbard that Nacua would be limited in his return to practice Wednesday, the wide receiver was seen looking crisp while making cuts and running routes, per Nate Atkins of The Athletic. Nacua initially suffered a low left-ankle sprain Week 6 at Baltimore and then sat out a Week 7 matchup with the Jaguars in London, but with the benefit of a Week 8 bye, it appears he'll miss just one game as a result of the injury. He'll have two more chances to get back to full practice participation before the Rams potentially clear him ahead of Sunday's contest against the Saints.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Limited in practice Wednesday
Rams coach Sean McVay said Nacua (ankle) will be limited in practice Wednesday , Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Nacua is back on the practice field for the first time since suffering a low left-ankle sprain versus Baltimore in Week 6. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Nacua is expected to return to the starting lineup Sunday versus New Orleans, but unless he's able to upgrade to full practice reps Thursday and/or Friday, the star wideout will likely carry an injury designation into the weekend. Rams' Puka Nacua: Expected to practice Wednesday
Rams coach Sean McVay said Monday that Nacua (ankle) is expected to return to practice Wednesday, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports.
Nacua appears on track to resume practicing for the first time since suffering a low left-ankle sprain Week 6 against the Ravens, lending optimism to the notion that he'll retake the field Sunday versus the Saints. Los Angeles is fresh off a Week 8 bye, which provided a crucial period for Nacua to rest up. While Nacua's status for Week 9 won't be made official until the team has had a chance to thoroughly monitor him in practice, the third-year wideout will be a must-start fantasy option as soon as he's cleared for game action, and Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that he's expected to suit up against New Orleans.
