Broncos' RJ Harvey: Fails to make impact Sunday
Harvey carried the ball 11 times for 30 yards and caught all three of his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 22-19 win over Kansas City.
With J.K. Dobbins (foot) done for the rest of the regular season, Harvey stepped into the top spot in the Broncos' backfield for the first time but failed to make much of an impact. Jaleel McLaughlin also vultured a four-yard TD in the third quarter that might have made Harvey's performance a little more palatable for fantasy investors. The rookie heads into a Week 12 bye with 439 scrimmage yards and six total touchdowns (two on the ground, four through the air) in his first 11 NFL games.

Broncos' RJ Harvey: Set for RB1 role with Dobbins out
Harvey is set to lead the Broncos backfield Sunday against the Chiefs due to J.K. Dobbins (foot) being ruled out for the contest.
Dobbins emerged from last Thursday's win against the Raiders with a foot injury, and as of Tuesday, a move to injured reserve was considered a possibility for the sixth-year pro, per Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette. After Dobbins was ruled out for Week 11 action Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that the running back was in line to be out for an extended period. Harvey has recorded 10 or more touches in a game only once so far in his career (18 in Week 4), but the rookie second-round pick has impressed at times, averaging 4.3 yards on his 43 rushes, gathering in 25 of 29 targets for 175 yards and scoring six TDs in 10 appearances. Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin are the other RBs on Denver's active roster.

Broncos' RJ Harvey: Likely lead back with Dobbins hurt
Harvey is expected to step into a larger role while J.K. Dobbins recovers from a foot injury, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports.
A concrete recovery timeline for Dobbins has yet to emerge, but Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reported Tuesday that Dobbins is a candidate for injured reserve, suggesting a high likelihood of a multi-week absence. If Dobbins is ultimately ruled out Sunday against the Chiefs, Harvey would likely take over the lead role in Denver's backfield, though Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin would probably rotate in as well.

Broncos' RJ Harvey: Little with six touches Thursday
Harvey rushed four times for nine yards and brought in two of three targets for nine yards in the Broncos' 10-7 win over the Raiders on Thursday night. He also returned two kickoffs for 35 yards.
Harvey's veteran backfield mate J.K. Dobbins appeared to be examined by trainers on the sideline at one point, but the rookie still logged very modest action from scrimmage. After breaking out with a 7-46-2 rushing line in Week 8 against the Cowboys, Harvey has logged only six combined carries for 15 yards over the subsequent pair of contests, although he did tally five receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 win over the Texans. Nevertheless, Dobbins remains the unquestioned lead back as long as he's healthy, meaning Harvey is likely to remain in a clear complementary role for a Week 11 home showdown against the Chiefs on Sunday, Nov. 16.

Broncos' RJ Harvey: Hits paydirt again
Harvey gained five rushing yards on two carries and caught all five of his targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 18-15 win over the Texans.
The rookie actually led the Broncos in catches and receiving yards, setting new personal bests in those categories and capping his day with a 27-yard TD from Bo Nix early in the fourth quarter. Harvey has emerged as a big-play threat in Sean Payton's offense, getting into the end zone in three straight games and scoring five touchdowns in total -- two on the ground and three through the air -- despite seeing only 20 touches during that stretch. Harvey will look to keep making an impact as the No. 2 RB behind J.K. Dobbins in Week 10 against the Raiders.

Broncos' RJ Harvey: Scores three times in Week 8 win
Harvey carried the ball seven times for 42 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 44-24 win over the Cowboys, and he hauled in his only target for a five-yard touchdown.
Harvey scored on the ground via 40- and 1-yard carries, the first two rushing touchdowns of his NFL career, while adding a third receiving score to his season totals. Meanwhile, top running back J.K. Dobbins rushed for 111 yards on 15 carries and caught both of his targets for 10 yards. While Dobbins remains the lead backfield option for Denver, continued impressive performances on Harvey's part could allow his usage to steadily grow as the 2025 campaign continues. The rookie second-round pick will work to keep up his momentum Week 9 on the road versus Houston.
