Packers' Colby Wooden: Plays in 13 games for Green Bay
Wooden finished the 2024 season with 20 tackles (nine solo) and two pass breakups across 13 regular-season contests.
A fourth-round pick out of Auburn in the 2023 NFL Draft, Wooden has appeared in 30 games for the Packers over the last two seasons, making one start. However, he hasn't made much of an impact in the box score, tallying just four QB hits and three tackles for loss, including 0.5 sacks, on 489 defensive snaps. Wooden will look to carve out a more prominent role along Green Bay's defensive line in his third season.

Packers' Colby Wooden: Active Sunday
Wooden (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
The defensive tackle suffered the shoulder injury during Green Bay's Week 9 loss to Detroit but couldn't return for the team's Week 11 win over Chicago even with the benefit of a bye in between. Wooden has eight tackles (two solo) and a pass defensed on 91 defensive snaps in 2024.

Packers' Colby Wooden: Won't play vs. Chicago
Wooden (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bears, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Wooden suffered a shoulder injury in Week 9 against the Lions. Even with the extra rest courtesy of the Packers' Week 10 bye, Wooden was unable to practice all week and he will miss his fourth game of the regular season Sunday. His next chance to suit up will be Week 12 against the 49ers on Sunday, Nov. 24. Karl Brooks should see an uptick in snaps in a rotational role at defensive tackle behind starters Kenny Clark and Devonte Wyatt.

Packers' Colby Wooden: Questionable to return Sunday
Wooden (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Lions, Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Wooden appears to have picked up a shoulder injury in the second half of Sunday's game and his status for the remainder of the contest is now up in the air. In the meantime, Karl Brooks and Tedarrell Slaton are candidates to see an increase in workload at defensive tackle.

Packers' Colby Wooden: Fills bit role as rookie
Wooden racked up 17 tackles (10 solo) and 0.5 sacks over 17 games in the 2023 regular season.
The 2023 fourth-rounder filled a complementary role as a rookie, but he did see defensive snaps in every game including the Packers' two playoff contests. Wooden could push for a bigger spot in the defensive line rotation in his second campaign.
