Cine signed with Eagles in the offseason before picking up an injury in the preseason that landed him on injured reserve in August. He played in one game with the Bills last season but failed to log any stats, and he'll now look to get healthy and catch on with another team.

Eagles' Lewis Cine: Reverts to IR
Cine (groin) reverted to the Eagles' injured reserve list Wednesday, according to the NFL's official transaction log.
The safety was waived/injured by Philadelphia on Sunday. Cine will need to reach an injury settlement with the team to play in 2025. The 2022 first-round pick of the Vikings has appeared in just 11 regular-season games during his career, making one tackle.

Cine missed some practice time last weekend, but the hamstring injury was evidently minor. A first-round pick by the Vikings in the 2022 Draft, Cine appeared in just one regular-season game with the Bills last season. Cine spent the entire regular season on the Bills' practice squad, but he's now headed to Philadelphia ahead of the start of the postseason. In his only appearance with Buffalo in 2024, he played exclusively on special teams.

Cine has signed with Buffalo's practice squad, Dorian Alerte of the Bills' official site reports.
Cine, who has seen action in 10 regular-season games in his young career, was originally thought to be heading to the Jets' practice squad, but it looks like he's instead chosen another AFC East team. Cine is a 2022 first-rounder, so this is probably the type of high-upside guy a team would want on the practice squad, considering the Bills are already working through injuries in the secondary.
