Texans' Derek Stingley: Good to go against Baltimore
Stingley (oblique) was a full participant in Friday's practice and does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Stingley opened the week with a DNP on Wednesday due to an oblique issue, but the fourth-year corner has been cleared to play Sunday after steadily increasing his practice participation over the course of the week. The 2022 first-rounder has 10 tackles (nine solo) and four pass defenses (including one interception) through the first four games of the regular season.

Texans' Derek Stingley: DNP with oblique issue
Stingley (oblique) did not practice Wednesday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Stingley dealt with the oblique issue leading up to last Sunday's game against the Titans, but he started and played 94 percent of the defensive snaps against Tennessee. As long as he didn't suffer a setback, Stingley will likely be out there Sunday against the Ravens.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Logs pick in win
Stingley had two tackles and returned an interception 20 yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Titans in Week 4.
Stingley was in the right place to intercept a deflected pass and returned it to the Titans' side of the field in the fourth quarter. The turnover, the cornerback's first pick of the season, set up a 24-yard touchdown strike to Jayden Higgins that give Houston a healthy three-score lead. Stingley was questionable all week with an oblique injury that limited him to 15 snaps in Week 3's loss to the Jaguars. He was back on the field for 94 percent of the defensive snaps Sunday.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Active for Sunday's game
Stingley (oblique) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Stingley returned to a limited practice Friday on the heels of missing the Texans' first two sessions with an oblique injury that he suffered in Week 3. With his Week 4 availability confirmed, Stingley is in a position to maintain his starting cornerback duties versus Tennessee. In three games so far, Stingley has logged eight tackles and three passes defensed.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Week 4 status tied to workout
Stingley (oblique) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans and will work out prior to the contest before a determination on his availability is made, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
An oblique injury kept Singley off the practice field Wednesday and Thursday, but a limited session Friday allowed him to take a designation into the weekend. Per Rapoport, Stingley is pushing to suit up, and if he checks out well, he likely will be excluded from the Texans' inactive list that will be posted about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Through three games this season, Stingley has recorded eight tackles and three passes defensed.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Uncertain for Week 4
Stingley (oblique) is questionable to play Sunday versus the Titans.
Stingley was able to return to practice Friday in a limited capacity after missing the first two sessions of the week with an oblique injury that he suffered in Week 3. If the cornerback can't go against Tennessee, Tremon Smith is a top candidate to start in his place.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Begins week with DNP
Stingley (oblique) didn't practice Wednesday.
Stingley suffered an oblique injury this past Sunday versus the Jaguars and was deemed day-to-day by coach DeMeco Ryans on Monday. Stingley's lack of practice Wednesday isn't a promising sign toward his availability for Sunday's matchup against Tennessee, but he'll have two more chances to get on the field this week before the Texans potentially tag him with a status heading into the weekend. If Stingley can't suit up Sunday, Tremon Smith could start in his place.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Day-to-day with oblique issue
Head coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters Monday that Stingley is considered day-to-day with an oblique injury, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The 24-year-old corner is still being evaluated after sustaining an injury in the Texans' Week 3 loss to the Jaguars. Prior to his injury, Stingley played just 14 defensive snaps and recorded one pass defended. His practice participation throughout the week will likely provide the best indication on his availability for Houston's Week 4 matchup against the Titans. If Stingley is unable to go, expect Tremon Smith to see increased reps at outside corner.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Won't return vs. Jacksonville
Stingley (abdomen) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Stingley suffered what initially was called a rib injury late in the first quarter, but further evaluation has determined that the reason for his departure was an abdominal issue. Jalen Pitre and Tremon Smith are the top options to see more work at outside corner following Stingley's injury.
