  • Giants' Jamie Gillan: Gets three-year deal with Big Blue

The Giants signed Gillan to a three-year, $10.2 million contract Saturday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Gillan has spent the last three seasons with the Giants, and his contract extension ensures that he will stick around for the next three years. He averaged 43.7 yards per punt across 13 regular-season games, and he had 48.2 percent of his punts land inside the 20-yard line.

  • Giants' Jamie Gillan: Past hamstring issue

Gillan (hamstring) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Gillan missed the Giants' last four games after sustaining a hamstring injury in early October. However, he practiced in a limited fashion throughout the week and now appears to have moved past the issue. Expect Gillan to serve as the Giants' top punter in Sunday's matchup in Germany.

  • Giants' Jamie Gillan: No-go for Week 9

Gillan (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Commanders, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Gillan will be forced to miss a fourth game in a row as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury he suffered in early October. Matt Haack will operate as the team's punter again in Week 9 versus Washington.

  • Giants' Jamie Gillan: Missing another contest

The Giants announced Saturday that Gillan (hamstring) is ruled out for Monday's game against the Steelers, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Gillan will miss his third consecutive game due to a lingering left hamstring injury. In his stead, Matt Haack will get another chance to handle punting duties for New York.

  • Giants' Jamie Gillan: Sidelined for Week 6

Gillan (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Gillan was originally listed as questionable but was ultimately ruled out before Sunday night's game against the Bengals. The Giants signed Matt Haack on Saturday, and he will take over punting duties while potentially serving as the holder on field-goal attempts.

  • Giants' Jamie Gillan: Pressed into emergency kicking duty

Gillan missed his lone extra-point attempt and punted twice for 87 yards in Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Commanders.

After Graham Gano suffered a hamstring injury while chasing down Commanders returner Austin Ekeler on the opening kickoff, Gillan, the Giants' punter, was called upon to replace Gano for both kickoffs and placekicking. Gillan was unable to convert on a point-after try following Devin Singletary's first-quarter touchdown, prompting the Giants to stay away from Gillan on any placekicking opportunities that emerged the rest of the day. According to Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post, head coach Brian Daboll said that Gano will be out for "a few weeks," but the Giants worked out four kickers Monday and will likely sign one or elevate Jude McAtamney from the practice squad to fill in for Gano in the team's Week 3 game in Cleveland.
