Eagles' Marcus Epps: Lands on IR
Epps (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Epps has appeared in all eight of Philadelphia's games this season, so it's unclear how or when he picked up this injury. He won't be able to return until at least Week 14.

Marcus Epps: Joins Eagles' practice squad
Philadelphia signed Epps to the practice squad Thursday.
Epps is linking with the Eagles' practice squad, not the team's 53-man roster. The veteran safety was released by New England on Tuesday and quickly rejoins Philadelphia in a depth capacity, a role he filled with the Eagles from 2019-2021 before operating as a full-time starter in 2022.

Eagles' Marcus Epps: Headed to Philly
Epps and the Eagles agreed on a contract Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Epps will head to Philadelphia after being released by the Patriots on Tuesday. The safety spent the last two seasons in Las Vegas, recording 85 total tackles (57 solo), while also adding three passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery over 20 total contests. Prior to joining the Raiders, Epps was with the Eagles from 2019 to 2022, and he will now likely operate as the top reserve option behind Reed Blankenship in 2025.

Patriots' Marcus Epps: Past knee injury
Epps (knee) logged four tackles (two solo) during the Patriots' 48-18 preseason win over the Commanders on Friday.
Epps has been limited in training camp while in the final stages of his recovery from a torn ACL that he suffered in September. He appears past the issue, as he was able to play in Friday's preseason opener. Epps signed a one-year deal with the Patriots in March after spending the last two seasons with the Raiders, and the 2019 sixth-rounder is competing for a depth spot in the secondary.

Patriots' Marcus Epps: Participates in training camp
Epps (knee) was a participant in the Patriots' first days of training camp, Paul Perillo of Patriots.com reports.
Epps was placed on injured reserve early last season after tearing his ACL in Week 3. The 29-year-old had been a limited participant in the team's OTAs earlier in the offseason but looks to be progressing well. It has yet to be seen what type of limitations the eighth-year safety will have as the team is set to ramp up the intensity of practices in the coming days.

Patriots' Marcus Epps: Limited with knee issue
Epps (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's voluntary OTAs, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.
Epps tore his ACL in late September and missed the Raiders' final 14 games in 2024, so it's no surprise he's limited to begin voluntary OTAs. The 29-year-old inked a one-year deal with the Patriots in March after posting 85 total tackles, three passes defended and one forced fumble over 20 games with the Raiders from 2023 to 2024. Once fully healthy, he's expected to compete for the team's top free-safety role.

Patriots' Marcus Epps: Lands in New England
The Patriots signed Epps (knee) to a one-year contract Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Epps is expected to gain clearance from his left ACL tear before the start of training camp, at which time he'll work to entrench himself in the Patriots' safety rotation. He made 19 tackles (16 solo) across just three appearances with the Raiders in 2024.
