Raiders' Qadir Ismail: Catching passes at OTAs
Ismail (undisclosed) is participating during OTAs, Matt Aguirre of the Raiders' official site reports.
Ismail missed half of the 2024 season with an undisclosed injury, but it's not bothering him anymore with offseason workouts now underway. He has yet to make his regular-season NFL debut, and he has his work cut out for him to earn a place on Las Vegas' final 53-man roster for 2025.

Raiders' Qadir Ismail: Lands in Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Ismail (undisclosed) to a contract Thursday.
Ismail joins Las Vegas as a reserve option at tight end, bolstering the team's depth mere hours before the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off. He spent last season on the Ravens' practice squad after going undrafted out of Samford, but he missed the last half of the year due to an undisclosed injury sustained mid-October.

Qadir Ismail: Practice squad contract expires
Ismail's (undisclosed) practice-squad contract with Baltimore expired Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Ismail was signed to the Ravens' practice squad in late August after failing to make the team's 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was placed on the practice-squad injured list in mid-October due to an undisclosed injury. Now that his practice squad contract has expired, Ismail will have an opportunity to sign a futures deal with the Ravens or another team once he's fully healthy.

Ismail (undisclosed) was placed on the practice squad injured list Friday, Clifton Brown of Baltimore's official site reports.
Ismail will be out of action for a while from the team's practice squad as he deals with an unknown injury. With the 6-foot-6 pass catcher now out, tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden has been re-signed to the practice squad in a corresponding move.

Ismail linked up with Baltimore in May as an undrafted free agent and is the son of one-time Ravens receiver Qadry Ismail. Although he was unable to make the team's 53-man roster out of camp, the younger Ismail will now have the opportunity to stick with the team's practice squad.
