Blake Watson: Placed on practice-squad IR
The Titans placed Watson (undisclosed) on the practice-squad injured list Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Watson will be required to miss at least the next four games. He appeared in two regular-season contests for the Broncos last season, rushing four times for 10 yards while catching one pass for 13 yards.

Blake Watson: Gets chance with Tennessee
The Titans signed Watson (knee) to their practice squad Monday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Watson spent time with the Broncos during training camp but was waived with an injury settlement in late August after suffering a PCL strain in Denver's final preseason contest. According to Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette, Denver was hoping to bring Watson back on a practice-squad deal but would have needed to wait until at least Week 7 due to the injury settlement. Since Watson is now back to health, he instead opted to join the Titans so that he can begin making his case for an opportunity on the active roster.

Broncos' Blake Watson: Set to be let go
Watson (knee) is in line to be waived after reaching an injury settlement with the Broncos, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Watson suffered a PCL strain in the team's preseason finale against the Saints on Saturday, and he will now be let go instead of being placed on injured reserve. The running back will rehab the injury and attempt to pass a physical and sign elsewhere in 2025.

Broncos' Blake Watson: Accumulates 23 yards in 2024
Watson logged four carries for 10 yards and added one catch (on two targets) for 13 yards across two regular-season games in 2024.
The Broncos signed Watson as an undrafted free agent in late April. He earned a spot on the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he was waived in mid-October after being a healthy scratch in five of Denver's first six regular-season games. He opted to stick around on the practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for Week 16 against the Chargers. Watson will be on the Broncos' 90-man roster when the new league year begins March 12 and will look to earn a rotational spot in the backfield for the 2025 campaign.

Broncos' Blake Watson: Signed to active roster
The Broncos signed Watson to their active roster from their practice squad Tuesday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Watson appeared in two games for Denver while on their practice squad and has carried the ball twice for nine yards. He could see increased usage once again during Saturday's matchup versus the Bengals if Jaleel McLaughlin (quadricep) is out again.

Blake Watson: Reverts to practice squad
Watson reverted to the Broncos' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Watson was elevated to Denver's active roster for the second time this season ahead of the Week 16 loss to the Chargers, taking four carries for 10 yards while catching one of his two targets for 13 yards over just 10 offensive snaps. The Memphis product could be elevated again for the Broncos' Week 17 matchup against the Bengals if Jaleel McLaughlin (quadriceps) is sidelined for the second consecutive game.

Broncos' Blake Watson: Elevated for TNF against Bolts
The Broncos elevated Watson from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Thursday night's game against the Chargers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
It's the second time Watson has been elevated from the practice squad this season. The first instance was in Week 5 against the Raiders, and he finished that game with two snaps (one on offense, one on special teams), but didn't otherwise show up on the box score. Watson will serve as Denver's No. 3 running back Thursday behind Javonte Williams and Audric Estime due to Jaleel McLaughlin being ruled out with a quadriceps injury.

Blake Watson: Staying in Mile High City
The Broncos signed Watson to the practice squad Saturday.
Watson was waived by the Broncos on Thursday after being a healthy scratch in five of Denver's six regular-season games. He had the option of joining another team in need of backfield depth after clearing waivers, but the 25-year-old running back has opted to stick around on the Broncos' practice squad.

Blake Watson: Let go by Denver
The Broncos waived Watson from the active roster Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Watson signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in late April. He was able to make the final 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but his lone appearance of the regular season came in Week 5 against the Raiders, when he played just one snap each on offense and special teams. Should he clear waivers, Watson will look to sign with a team in need of backfield depth.

Broncos' Blake Watson: Won't play at Tampa Bay
Watson (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Sunday's game at the Buccaneers.
Watson will have to wait at least one more week to make his NFL debut. In his stead, Tyler Badie will suit up for the second straight week to serve as Denver's third option out of the backfield.

Broncos' Blake Watson: Expected to play Week 2
Watson is expected to be active for the Broncos' Week 2 game against the Steelers on Sunday after Audric Estime (ankle) was placed on injured reserve, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
The Broncos went with three running backs for the regular-season opener against the Seahawks, which left Watson as a healthy inactive behind Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin and Estime. With Estime set to miss at least the next four regular-season games while on IR, Watson will slide into the No. 3 role in the backfield behind Williams and McLaughlin for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh. Watson played in all three of Denver's preseason games and turned 26 carries into 84 yards and one touchdown and added two catches for 46 yards.

Broncos' Blake Watson: Healthy scratch for opener
Watson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Seahawks.
Watson is clearly behind Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin and rookie fifth-round pick Audric Estime on the running back depth chart, making his inactive status for the opener unsurprising. The undrafted rookie beat the odds to make the final 53-man roster, but Watson will likely need an injury to one of his aforementioned trio of teammates to garner active status in the foreseeable future.
