Giants' Micah McFadden: Healthy to begin OTAs
McFadden (neck) has been practicing with the Giants' first-team defense in OTAs, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
McFadden missed the final two games of the 2024 season, but the starting linebacker has returned to full health to begin offseason team activities. In addition to featuring in the base defense, McFadden was part of the Giants' dime package in practice. He has exceeded 100 tackles in each of the past two seasons.

Giants' Micah McFadden: Out for Week 18 finale
McFadden (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
McFadden will miss his second straight game to close out the season, so Darius Muasau and Ty Summers should again see the majority of the linebacker snaps against Philadelphia. McFadden's season comes to a close having recorded a career-best 107 tackles (60 solo), including eight TFLs and 3.0 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 14 games, all starts. The 25-year-old linebacker has one year remaining on his rookie deal in 2025.

Giants' Micah McFadden: Misses Wednesday's practice
McFadden (neck) didn't practice Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
McFadden was sidelined for the Giants' Week 17 win over the Colts due to a neck injury sustained the week prior, and Wednesday's DNP likely suggests he's in jeopardy of missing additional time. The Indiana product almost certainly needs to upgrade to at least limited practice participation Thursday or Friday to have a chance to play in the Week 18 divisional matchup against the Eagles.

Giants' Micah McFadden: Won't play Sunday
McFadden (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
McFadden missed the second half of last Sunday's loss to the Falcons with the neck injury and will now be sidelined for Week 17. Ty Summers replaced McFadden against Atlanta and would seem to be next in line for linebacker snaps. The Giants are already without fellow starting inside linebacker Bobby Okereke (back) for the remainder of the season.

McFadden totaled 11 tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 35-14 Week 15 loss to the Ravens.
McFadden finished second on New York in tackles behind Dane Belton (15). It was the second straight game in which McFadden tallied exactly 11 tackles, and he's now logged that specific total in four of his past six games. That makes him a viable fantasy asset for managers in IDP leagues.

McFadden practically lived in New Orleans' backfield Sunday, as nearly half of his 11 tackles went for a loss. The linebacker logged exactly 11 stops for the third time in his past five contests, and he's now totaled double-digit stops four times overall on the campaign. That gives him a solid IDP ceiling, though it's worth noting that McFadden also have five or fewer tackles four times through 12 contests this season.
