After four seasons with San Francisco, Burford is headed to the AFC. The 25-year-old filled a key role on the 49ers' offensive line last year, starting nine of his 11 regular-season games. Burford could compete for a starting role at guard with the Raiders.

Burford was able to upgrade to a full participant in Friday's practice, just in time to dodge any injury designation ahead of Monday's contest. The starting left guard will be all set to block for quarterback Brock Purdy and running back Christian McCaffrey as the team attempts to win out in the hopes of acquiring the top seed in the NFC.

49ers' Spencer Burford: Can't practice Thursday
Burford (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Burford was forced out of San Francisco's win over the Titans in Week 15 late, and though he's reportedly avoided a serious injury, his status for Monday's matchup against the Colts remains uncertain. The starting left guard will have two more opportunities to take the practice field during Week 16 prep.
