Packers' Keith Ford: Not in prominent depth chart spot
Ford had six carries for 11 yards and one reception for eight yards in Thursday's preseason loss to the Raiders.
Ford finished third among Packers running backs that suited up in both touches and carries, which essentially slots him fifth on the depth chart heading into next week's preseason finale.

Ford had one carry for 10 yards and one reception for three yards in Thursday's preseason loss to the Ravens.
Ford played just nine snaps Thursday, but he still got a couple chances to touch the ball. He did gain a bit of ground on his lone tote, but didn't really see enough opportunity to improve his chances of making the cut.

Keith Ford: Headed to waivers
The Colts waived Ford on Monday.
Ford was let go by Indianapolis in order to make room for fellow running back D'Onta Foreman. The 25-year-old played two games with Buffalo last season and will now look to catch on in a depth capacity elsewhere in the league.

Ford may just be a healthy body to add to the mix during practice, considering the Packers have four running backs on their roster currently dealing with injury. The 25-year-old does have some NFL experience under his belt, however, suiting up in two games with the Bills in 2018.

Colts' Keith Ford: Joins Colts
Ford signed a contract with the Colts on Sunday.
Ford hasn't had a team since being cut by Buffalo in mid-May. The 25-year-old appeared in two games for the Bills last season, logging 79 rushing yards on 21 attempts to go with three catches for 21 yards. Ford will likely find himself occupying the last spot on Indianapolis' depth chart, which was made vacant after the team waived Aca'Cedric Ware.

Keith Ford: Let go by Bills
Ford was cut by the Bills on Monday.
Ford appeared in two games for Buffalo last season, including as the starting back for the Bills' Week 16 loss to New England -- the Texas A&M product was the team's leading rusher with seven carries for 33 yards. That would be Ford's last game in a Bills uniform, as he was a healthy scratch for Week 17. With Buffalo adding Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon in free agency, there just wasn't any room for Ford on the roster. The Bills also released Chris Ivory in late March.

Bills' Keith Ford: Inactive Week 17
Ford will be a healthy inactive for the season finale Sunday against the Dolphins.
This comes as a bit of a surprise since Ford has taken 21 carries the last two games and the Bills have wanted to give him as many looks as feasible with an eye toward next season. With Chris Ivory (shoulder) ready to play again, the Bills will go with two veteran backs Sunday, with LeSean McCoy leading the way as the team tries to end its season on a winning note.

Bills' Keith Ford: Leading Bills rusher in loss
Ford rushed seven times for 33 yards and added two catches for 14 yards on four targets in Sunday's 24-12 loss to New England.
Ford got the start at running back with coach Sean McDermott punishing LeSean McCoy for a "situation" between the two, and even though McCoy returned to lead back duties to begin Buffalo's second drive, Ford still ended up outplaying the declining veteran. If injury issues persist in Buffalo's backfield, Ford could once again find himself handling a handful of touches against the Dolphins in Week 17.

Bills' Keith Ford: Listed as No. 2 RB
Ford is listed as the backup to LeSean McCoy in advance of Sunday's matchup against New England.
Ford made his season debut in Week 15, collecting 14 carries on 41 offensive snaps in a week where much of the backfield was sidelined due to injury. While McCoy is back in the mix and listed as the starter, Ford is the only other healthy true running back on the active roster, as Chris Ivory (shoulder) is inactive and Marcus Murphy (elbow) was placed on IR this week.

Bills' Keith Ford: Still in the mix?
Coach Sean McDermott said Friday the team will decide in the upcoming day about playing time for LeSean McCoy (hamstring), Chris Ivory (shoulder) and Ford during Sunday's game in New England, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.
It looks like the two veterans have overcome their injuries and will play against the division rival, but the coaching staff has been saying all along that they would like to keep giving Ford some looks, so expect the rookie to see at least a handful of carries. That said, unless the Bills sit McCoy completely, it's hard to rely on a relative unknown that might be third in the pecking order against a heavily favored Patriots squad.

Bills' Keith Ford: Slated for role reduction
Ford is expected to handle a reduced role Sunday against the Patriots after fellow running backs LeSean McCoy (hamstring) and Chris Ivory (shoulder) turned in full practices Thursday.
Both McCoy and Ivory were sidelined for the Week 15 win over the Lions, resulting in Ford slotting in as the main backup to Marcus Murphy. When Murphy (elbow) exited early with an injury of his own, Ford was pressed into an extended role in his NFL debut, logging 14 carries for 46 yards and hauling in his lone target for seven yards. Murphy is now out of the picture after being placed on injured reserve earlier this week, but Ford will sink to third on the depth chart with McCoy and Ivory on track to play Sunday in New England. Unless the Bills opt to deliberately limit the veterans' workloads over the final two games, it's hard to envision Ford getting double-digit touches again in 2018.

Bills' Keith Ford: Pressed into action by injuries
Ford rushed 14 times for 46 yards and added a seven-yard catch on his lone target in Sunday's 14-13 win over the Lions.
With Buffalo already missing its top two running backs, Ford took over as the last man standing after Marcus Murphy suffered a dislocated elbow. If none of Murphy, LeSean McCoy (hamstring) and Chris Ivory (shoulder) returns in Week 16, Ford would get the start at running back in New England.
