Dolphins' Elijah Campbell: Injury not serious
Coach Mike McDaniel said Sunday that Campbell's knee injury isn't believed to be serious, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Campbell played 19 defensive snaps in Sunday's preseason opener against the Bears, finishing with three tackles (one solo) before departing with the injury. Campbell appeared in all 17 regular-season contests with Miami last season, making one start.

Dolphins' Elijah Campbell: Exits game with knee injury
Campbell left in the second quarter of Sunday's preseason game against the Bears due to a right knee injury, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Campbell was able to walk off the field under his own power and is undergoing further tests in the blue medical tent. Given that it's the preseason, Campbell will likely remain out for the rest of Sunday's contest to avoid aggravating the injury.

Dolphins' Elijah Campbell: Re-ups with Miami
Campbell is slated to re-sign with the Dolphins on a one-year, $1.9 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Campbell has been a solid special-teams contributor for Miami over the last two seasons while also holding down a depth gig on defense. His role could conceivably grow in 2025, with Jevon Holland moving on to the Giants and Jordan Poyer in line to hit free agency.

Dolphins' Elijah Campbell: Remains with Dolphins
Campbell signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins on Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Campbell has been a strong producer on special teams across the last two seasons in Miami, tallying 289 and 301 snaps, respectively. He's unlikely to play much of a role on defense, however, and he's never recorded more than 15 tackles in a single campaign.

Dolphins' Elijah Campbell: Will start versus New York
Campbell will start at safety alongside Brandon Jones for Sunday's game against the Jets, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
The adjustment comes with both Jevon Holland (knee-MCL) and DeShon Elliott (concussion) inactive for Sunday's game. Campbell has spent most of his time on the field on special teams this season and has nine tackles (six solo) in 11 appearances.

Campbell (knee) will miss Sunday's contest against the Chargers, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
The 28-year-old was expected to miss some time as he's been dealing with a knee injury suffered in late August. Campbell appeared in 16 games for Miami last season, tallying 12 total tackles and playing primarily on special teams.

Dolphins' Elijah Campbell: Avoids ACL injury
Campbell (knee), who was carted off the field in Saturday's preseason loss at Jacksonville, avoided an ACL injury, and the team is continuing to assess the injury, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Schad noted the severity of the injury appears to be substantial. Campbell needed help getting off the field in the second quarter before being taken to the locker room on a cart. Campbell re-signed with the Dolphins in March for his third year with the team, where he primarily contributed on special teams.

Campbell needed assistance getting off the field during the second quarter, favoring his left leg as he made his way to the sideline tent before going to the locker room. The extent of the injury isn't known, but considering the way he left the field, he may be in store for a lengthy absence.
