Revel likely picked up the injury during the Cowboys' Week 14 loss to the Lions, when he played every single defensive snap while logging six tackles (four solo). Revel logged six tackles (four solo) during the Cowboys' 44-30 loss to the Lions on Thursday.
The rookie third-rounder finished with the third-most tackles on the Cowboys behind DaRon Bland and DeMarvion Overshown (seven each). Revel struggled on coverage and was unable to recover enough in his zone assignment to break up a 12-yard touchdown pass from Jared Goff to Isaac TeSlaa early in the third quarter. Revel has accumulated 15 takcles (nine solo) and one pass defense through four regular-season games.

Cowboys' Shavon Revel: Records six tackles in win
Revel finished with six tackles (two solo) in Thursday's 31-28 win over the Chiefs.
The cornerback also played on 95 percent of the defensive snaps with Caelen Carson out due to a hamstring injury. Revel, a third-round pick in the draft, missed Dallas' first nine games as he recovered from a torn ACL suffered in his final collegiate season at East Carolina, but he has now played in the last three games and has seen his snap count increase in each contest.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters Tuesday that Revel (knee) is "trending" toward making his 2025 debut in the Cowboys' Week 11 road tilt against the Raiders on Monday, Nov. 17, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.
The rookie third-rounder is inching closer to making his NFL debut. Revel started the regular season on the reserve/non-football injured list while recovering from a torn ACL that he sustained during his final collegiate season at East Carolina in September of 2024. Executive vice president Stephen Jones said Friday that Revel (knee) is expected to return from the reserve/non-football injury list ahead of the Cowboys' Week 11 clash against the Raiders on Monday, Nov. 17, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
