Texans' Haggai Ndubuisi: Signs with Houston
Ndubuisi (undisclosed) signed with the Texans on Thursday.
In January, the defensive tackle was waived by the Patriots with a non-football illness designation, signed by the Commanders to their practice squad and then placed on the Commanders' practice-squad injured list with an undisclosed issue. Ndubuisi, a Nigerian who came to the NFL through the International Player Pathway Program, has yet to appear in a regular-season game, but he'll now have a chance to compete for a depth role in Houston.

Ndubuisi (undisclosed) was placed on the Commanders' practice squad injured list Wednesday.
Ndubuisi was waived by the Patriots on Thursday with a non-football illness designation and then was signed to the Commanders' practice squad Tuesday. It's unclear if this move is related or not, but Ndubuisi will not play again until 2025.

The Commanders signed Ndubuisi (illness) to the practice squad Tuesday.
Ndubuisi was waived by the Patriots with a non-football illness designation last Thursday, but he's now been cleared as healthy enough to join Washington's practice squad. The veteran defensive lineman will provide some emergency depth for the Commanders heading into Sunday's wild-card round playoff matchup against Tampa Bay.

Commanders' Haggai Ndubuisi: Joins Washington
The Commanders signed Ndubuisi to a contract Wednesday.
Ndubuisi missed the 2023 season, but he should now be fully recovered from the fractured finger he had surgically repaired last September. As part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program, Ndubuisi will now get a chance to further his development and compete for an end-of-roster spot with Washington.

Haggai Ndubuisi: Set to have surgery
Ndubuisi will undergo surgery Monday for a fractured left ring finger, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Ndubuisi tried to play through the injury but was absent from Friday's workout. The procedure is expected to keep Ndubuisi -- who joined the Broncos' practice squad Aug. 29 as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program -- sidelined for about six weeks.
