Seahawks' D'Anthony Bell: Signs with Seattle
The Seahawks signed Bell to a one-year contract Friday, Chad Krispinsky of WKBN First News 27 reports.
Bell spent the last three seasons in Cleveland, where he carved out a significant role on special teams. He appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Browns in 2024. The 28-year-old safety will spend the offseason working to establish himself as a reliable special-teams asset with his new team.

Browns' D'Anthony Bell: Increased role ahead
Bell will start at free safety against the Eagles on Sunday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Bell will see a major uptick in work during Week 6 due to Ronnie Hickman (ankle) and Grant Delpit (concussion) being inactive against Philadelphia. The 27-year-old Bell hasn't seen much action this season outside of special teams work, but on 214 defensive snaps last season, he did have four passes defended, including two interceptions.

Despite Bell's placement on the active/PUP list, he's eligible to practice or play at any point this preseason. The 27-year-old appeared in 17 games in 2023, recording 28 total tackles and four passes defended, including two interceptions. Bell is expected to compete for another depth role in the Browns' secondary once he returns to full health.

Browns' D'Anthony Bell: Finishes 2023 strong
Bell recorded 28 tackles, four passes defensed, two interceptions and a forced fumble over 17 regular-season games in 2023.
Bell was mostly a special-teams contributor but needed more on the defense after Grant Delpit (groin) was unavailable from Week 15 on through the playoffs. Most of his production came in those final weeks of the regular season, as the Browns secured a postseason ticket. Entering his third NFL season, Bell's work on special teams is enough to earn him a spot in 2024, and his play while Delpit was out showed he's up to task on defense.

Browns' D'Anthony Bell: Snags first interception of career
Bell recorded five tackles (four solo) while intercepting a pass and deflecting another in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Bears.
Bell secured his first career interception as time expired in the fourth quarter, picking off a hail-Mary attempt by Justin Fields. The safety stepped into a larger role after Grant Delpit (groin) was placed on injured reserve earlier in the week, notching a season-high five tackles.
