Flowers played 14 defensive snaps during Sunday's 37-34 loss at Jacksonville, but now the Colts have decided to part ways with him. He'll become a free agent if he's not claimed by another team during the current waiver period.

Flowers left Sunday's win over Chicago with an apparent right leg injury, the Indianapolis Star reports. He had five total tackles before departing.
Flowers hurt his right leg while making a tackle late in the game and did not return. He was able to walk off the field under his own power. The Colts could be thin in the secondary with both Flowers and Kenny Moore suffering injuries late in the win.

Flowers (Achilles) expects to be ready for the start of the 2024 season, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Flowers began the 2023 season as a starting corner for the Colts and tallied 15 total tackles and three passes defensed before suffering a torn Achilles in Week 4. He should have the chance to maintain a significant role as an outside corner, opposite Juju Brents with Kenny Moore covering the slot.

Colts' Dallis Flowers: Done for season
Flowers suffered a torn Achilles in Sunday's 29-23 loss to the Rams and will be out for the remainder of the season, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Flowers came into Week 4 questionable due to an ankle injury, and it was initially believed the Pittsburgh State product just aggravated it. However, he suffered a much more significant injury, which will end his season prematurely. The 26-year-old will now focus on his path to recovery, while Isaiah McKenzie is likely the leading candidate to take over return duties and Jaylon Jones and Kenny Moore will be candidates to see extra opportunities in the secondary.
