Rams' Quentin Lake: Thrives in starting role
Lake recorded 111 tackles (73 solo), including 2.0 sacks and five passes defended during the 2024 regular season.
A shift to slot cornerback for Lake resulted in a large boost to his stats in 2024, as he easily eclipsed career highs in tackles, snaps and sacks, and was one shy of his career best in passes defended while playing in all 17 of the Rams' regular season contests. Lake is entering the final year of his rookie deal and will look to continue his strong play in 2025.

Rams' Quentin Lake: Tallies seven tackles in Week 16
Lake finished Sunday's 19-9 win over the Jets with seven tackles (four solo).
Lake finished as the Rams' third-leading tackler Sunday behind Jaylen McCollough (nine) and Christian Rozeboom (eight). Lake's durability has been impressive, as he has yet to miss a single defensive snap through 15 regular-season games. He's up to 106 tackles (69 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and five pass defenses in 2024.

Lake recorded eight total tackles (five solo) and one pass defended in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Saints.
Lake has now posted eight-plus tackles in three of his last five games, serving as the Rams' third-leading tackler in Sunday's win. The third-year pro has accumulated 92 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, and two passes defended over 12 appearances this season. Expect Lake to continue being an integral part of Los Angeles' defense as the season progresses, whether he plays as the team's top slot corner or free safety.

Rams' Quentin Lake: Double-digit tackles Sunday
Lake recorded 11 total tackles (seven solo) and one pass defended in Sunday's 28-22 win over the Patriots.
The 25-year-old battled through a groin injury to play in Sunday's win, tying Christian Rozeboom as the team's leading tackler. Week 11 marked the first time Lake posted double-digit tackles since opening the Rams' season with three consecutive 10-plus tackle games. The UCLA product is having a career season, recording 80 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, and one pass defended through the team's first 10 games. He's expected to continue wreaking havoc on opposing offenses as the season progresses.

Rams' Quentin Lake: Good to go vs. New England
Lake (groin) was a full practice participant Friday and does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Patriots, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Lake popped up on Thursday's injury report due to a groin issue, but that doesn't appear to be a serious concern as he was able to practice in full Friday. Lake has played every defensive snap through the first nine games of the regular season and has accumulated 69 tackles (45 solo), including 2.0 sacks.
