Bernard tallied six solo tackles and a fumble recovery during the Bills' 23-20 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
Bernard played every single defensive snap for the third time in five games and co-led the Bills in tackles with Greg Rousseau and Matt Milano. Bernard has recorded at least six tackles in each of his last three games, and the fourth-year linebacker is up to 26 tackles (19 solo), one interception and two fumble recoveries through the first five games of the regular season.

No Buffalo defender recorded move than five stops in a game during which the Bills dominated time of possession by nearly 17 minutes. Bernard finished tied for the third on the team with his four stops, which was one more than he registered in the season opener against Baltimore. Bills' Terrel Bernard: Tallies three tackles on SNF
Bernard registered three tackles (two solo), a defensed pass and a fumble recovery Sunday night in a 41-40 win over Baltimore.
Bernard's fumble recovery was huge, as it came late in the fourth quarter with the Bills trailing by eight and set up a Josh Allen touchdown run. It was an otherwise pretty quiet game by the veteran linebacker, whose three stops were fewer than he recorded in all but one contest last season. Bernard dealt with a hamstring injury in training camp but was able to play all 51 of Buffalo's defensive snaps Sunday.

Bernard (hamstring) isn't listed on the Bills' injury report Wednesday.
Bernard dealt with a hamstring injury for much of training camp, but he's presumably past the issue. That means he'll likely be able to play Sunday versus Baltimore in the regular-season opener. Bernard is looking to reach triple-digit tackles for the third straight campaign and was rewarded with a four-year, $50 million contract this spring.

Bills' Terrel Bernard: Nursing hamstring issue
Bernard did not practice Sunday due to a hamstring injury, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.
This is the first word of Bernard dealing with the injury, and it's not clear how severe the issue is. Given that it's still early in training camp, the Bills are likely to exercise caution with the starting linebacker's return to practice. Bernard has topped 100 regular-season tackles each of the past two years and re-signed with Buffalo on a four-year, $50 million contract in early March.
