Ravens' Alohi Gilman: Causes early turnover in TNF win
Gilman registered four tackles (two solo), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery during Baltimore's 28-6 win over Miami on Thursday.
In just his third game in a Ravens uniform, Gilman made his presence felt early in the first quarter after stripping the ball out of Tahj Washington's hands and recovering the ball himself, which resulted in a two-yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson to Mark Andrews four plays later. Gilman is up to 38 tackles (20 solo) and four pass defenses through eight regular-season games.

Ravens' Alohi Gilman: Acquired by Baltimore
The Ravens acquired Gilman and a 2026 fifth-round pick from the Chargers in exchange for Odafe Oweh and a 2027 seventh-round pick Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The 1-4 Ravens have been churning the roster on defense a bit Tuesday, first signing veteran C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the practice squad before acquiring Gilman from Los Angeles. Gilman was a sixth-round pick by the Chargers in 2020 and has appeared in 73 career regular-season games, making 39 starts. He's started 30 games over the last three seasons, including the first five of 2025 for Los Angeles. On 87 percent of the defensive snaps this season, Gilman has recorded 22 tackles (11 solo) and three pass breakups. With Kyle Hamilton nursing a groin injury, Gilman could start immediately alongside first-round rookie safety Malaki Starks.

Chargers' Alohi Gilman: Registers 50 tackles in 2024
Gilman played 11 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 50 tackles (34 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and four pass defenses (including one interception).
Gilman missed five of six regular-season games due to a hamstring injury, which was severe enough for him to be placed on injured reserve in late November. He was activated off IR ahead of the Chargers' regular-season finale against the Raiders, and he played every single defensive snap in the Bolts' wild-card loss against the Texans, finishing with 10 tackles (four solo), one pass defense and one forced fumble. Gilman and Derwin James will likely serve as the Chargers' starting safeties for the 2025 campaign.

The Chargers activated Gilman (hamstring), who remains questionable for Sunday's matchup versus Las Vegas, off injured reserve Saturday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Gilman had been on IR since Nov. 30 due to a hamstring injury. He was designated to return Wednesday and logged an LP/LP/FP practice progression this week. Gilman's activation means he could play Sunday against the Raiders, but if he doesn't suit up, Tony Jefferson may log another start at safety.

Chargers' Alohi Gilman: Set to return to practice
The Chargers designated Gilman (hamstring) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Gilman landed on IR on Nov. 30 and has been rehabbing since. By being designated to return, the Notre Dame product will be able to resume practicing, and the Chargers will have 21 days to activate him. It's not yet clear if Gilman will return to action this Sunday against Las Vegas, but with the Chargers having locked up a playoff spot, it's possible that he'll be ready to boost the team's secondary in the postseason.
